The san blas islands
The San Blas archipelago is made up of 367 Islands. There is almost no western development and very little tourism here. Only 1 out of 10 islands are inhabited! The desert islands are surrounded by crystal clear water and coral reefs full of tropical marine life. It has been said to be one of the top destinations on the planet to sail and kitesurf.
You will meet the local people of the islands called the Kuna. With a fascinating culture they are a wonderful example of how an indigenous population can flourish and maintain their ancient customs. They are sure to give you a friendly and warm welcome.

DAY 1 - 2
Meet and stay at the hotel Magnolia Inn in Panama City for the night. At 7 pm we meet in the lobby and head out to a local restaurant to get to know the group and have a trip briefing.
The following morning we set off a 5 am for a 3-hour drive to the small Kuna Port. On the way, we stop at a supermarket to give you the chance to buy alcohol and snacks for the week. We then board a small Kuna boat to take us on a short ride to the yacht.
DAY 2 - 3
Once everyone has settled in on the boat we will have some lunch and set sail for the first set of islands. We hope to arrive in the early evening so we can get out on the water on our first day.
Below you can see the first kite spot we visit. We normally stay here for the first evening and next day. Then in the early afternoon set sail for the next kite spot.
A Light Wind day?
From December to April the trade winds blow so we expect very consistent wind over the season. However, we are working with the elements so in the rare case of a few light wind day we have you covered! We can go on jungle treks to waterfalls, SUP, Fishing, Snorkelling as well as exploring islands and meeting the Local Kuna.
DAY 3 - 4
Arrive for an evening & sunset session followed by a beach bonfire and stay at this spot until the following day, then set sail midday after a morning session. Depending on the groups level we have the option to do a down or cross winder to the next set of islands.
Day 4 - 7
We will then spend the next few days visiting the spot below. We always sail midday as the wind is strongest for kiting in the mornings and evenings.
After a morning at the islands, we start to make our way back to Panama City. Once we arrive there we go for a few drinks to finish the adventure. For a real insight into the trip, watch our video.

Please sign up below for updates, as soon as we get this sorted we will get in contact and start taking bookings for trips.
